Rest= Muscle GROWTH (which is what you want 💪🏽) , don't misunderstand their meaning
❗How to train 1x per week and get results❗ Actually you should rest more than 7 days.
You should rest until you feel no fatigue or pain in the joints (I know it sounds like a miracle) from your previous workout, even if that means you take 12 days.
Because, ... The secret is you need to train intense and not risk injury.
but how intense, and with what methods?

You must respect the principles and what I am showing you in the workout (don't start lifting 30 kgs, lift at your own level of weights and progress) and do the exercises at a comfortable weight for you in which you know you will increase the weight bit by bit accordingly to the principles and then let the magic happen,the results come from resting.😴
If you want to do some research,it's called HIT (High Intensity Training , known from Mike Mentzer) ,because you don't build muscle like in Aerobic training (running🏃,football⚽) this is Anaerobic training, with weights, where you build muscle from intensity under short period of time.
